New bid for Regent's Canal

AS REGULAR readers will be aware the Regent’s Canal is up for auction on ebay, as Victor discovered, with more bidding for the waterway.
It is obvious that bidders do not think it is very good condition, as the latest bid is for £1.25 for the length from Kensal Green to Limehouse!
Closes Friday
The auction closes on Friday morning, 3rd July, at 10.15 in the morning. As is well known, most bidding on ebay occurs in the last two hours, it is expected that the waterway will raise a little more than £1.25.
