CaRT's gone quackers

WE MUST all be aware that Canal & River Trust wants to increase its visitor numbers to the canal towpaths, but it seems that ducks could be included.

Walkers, joggers and cyclists are well catered for with new surfaces throughout the entire network, so what about ducks?

Lane installed

When it was discovered that ducks do not have their own lane it was immediately decided that this was a dire oversight, so a standard was decided and the first lane installed.

Don't believe it?—Here it is, but alas like pedestrians and cyclists before them, the ducks tend to wander out of their lanes, so CaRT is now considering how this can be avoided and they can be taught to adhere to the rules...
