Families are being encouraged take part in what Dudley Canal Trust are calling their first ‘underground eggsibition', with the chance to have a go at a unique twist on a classic Easter Egg Hunt. Chocolate prizes will be up for grabs for boat trip visitors who can find the magical golden egg.

Produce the eggs

Hundreds of school children from across the Black Country have joined in already to produce the decorated eggs which will be on display in the tunnels, with Sarah Fellows, Heritage Activities Officer for Dudley Canal Trust Trips Ltd explaining:

"We're very excited to be working with a number of local primary schools, as they produce the artwork for our eggsibition. Decorated with hundreds of hand-painted eggs the caverns will definitely be bursting with bright and beautiful miniature artworks this Easter holiday. It's an eggstravaganza you must not miss!"

There will be 45 minutes boat trips into the decorated tunnels and caverns running throughout the holidays, from 10.30am to 4pm each day, with special 20% early bird discounts on trips before midday.
