Free canal boat trips

A GENEROUS community grant has enabled the Pride of Sefton Narrowboat Committee to offer free boat trips on its Pride of Sefton 2 broadbeam. The Committee is now inviting residents of Sefton on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal to apply for spaces on the boat's trips along the canal, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Cruise the canal

The generous community grant comes from local housing provider, Adactus community grant scheme, the Neighbourhood Fund, and will allow the organisers of the trips to offer local residents, and particularly children a chance to cruise the canal.

The Committee run narrowboat trips along the waterway and through the Liverpool Docks.
