Bride by boat

IT WAS definitely 'Get me to the Church on Time' for bride Deborah Harris—but by narrowboat!

Surely a memorable start to a wedding to arrive at the church steering a narrowboat, the Pamela May owned by Sandy Laird from the Droitwich Waterways Trust, that normally takes tourists on canal cruises, Alan Tilbury tells us.

With wedding party

The bride, together with her wedding party left the Railway Inn, conveniently next to Netherwych Basin, and cruised to Wychbold, taking a short walk to St Michaels Church  for her marriage to James Smith.

All agreed it was an unusual, but exciting start to her wedding day.
