Police divers to search Grand Union
POLICE divers are being considered to search the Grand Union Canal in Leicester, the area where 67 years old Arthur Prosser is believed to have walked.
He has been missing for a month, and as all the land and properties where he could have gone have been searched, the police are now concentrating on the waterway through the city, with the possibility of him slipping into the waterway in the icy conditions.
Parkinson's disease
He suffers from Parkinson's disease and has a heart condition, but does not have any of his medication with him.
His son, Graham, who lives with his father, was invited to watch the police at work searching the canal, telling that the police had kept him informed throughout the entire search, and had invited him to the waterway to show they were still active in trying to find his father.
