THERE IS ANOTHER CLOSURE on the Llangollen Canal caused by a leak/breach.
This is South of the breach that is in the process of being repaired, with the waterway closed at the new site, Janet Friend reports.
It is the Whitchurch Waterway Trust that tells that water is leaking from the canal and navigation is now closed.
Option to stay or move
It has contacted all the boats moored on the pound so that they have the option to stay where they are or move to safer moorings elsewhere on the waterway.
The major breach on the canal is still being repaired and is expected to reopen in February of next year.
