LAST MONTH AUGUST Sykehouse Lift Bridge on the New Junction Canal failed three times.
And it has failed yet again, Keith Gudgin reports.
This time it is stuck in the 'up' position but still closed to navigation as people are attempting to repair it.
May be delays
Our being told that there are contractor attending to the site to attempt to resolve the issue, so there may be a delays.
The bridge was closed to navigation during August on the 4th, the 7th and the 12th, for various reasons.
