THERE IS A SWING BRIDGE failure on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.
The Warehouse Swing Bridge (187) is at present inoperable, Keith Gudgin reports.
This is due, we are told, to an issue with the power supply to the unit, with the navigation closed.
But a team is due on site to investigate and hopefully carry out repairs.
Huddersfield Narrow Canal
The problem on the Huddersfield Canal is due to the failure of the offside paddle of the gate head of Lock 13 West
The team was on site and discovered what needs to be done to enable a repair.
The navigation is at present closed.
