New Willow Tree Tea Room coming along nicely

THE NEW temporary Willow Tree Tea Room at Mercia Marina is coming along very nicely indeed.

And it is coming on quickly as the picture well shows after only just a few weeks.

When both moorers and visitors saw the proposed massive new development of the new Promenade, that would take 18 months to build and with Willow Tree Tea Room demolished in the process there was great disappointment.

But we soon learnt that a temporary tea room would be erected before the present one is demolished and is it that what is shown in the picture, it being the new Willow Tree Tea Room.

But then it moves again! For when the massive £6 millions Promenade is built this will then contain the new permanent Willow Tree Room in more or less its original location.The only disruption being the relocation of the equipment.

Not so sure about the actual willow tree!  If there was one!
