CAMRA has just published the new edition of the Good Beer Guide, writes Roger Fox.

It is good to see that two popular Midlands canalside pubs have retained their listings.

The Greyhound at Sutton Stop (pictured below) at the junction of the Oxford and Coventry canals is an ever popular drinking hole for boaters.

The Cape of Good Hope (pictured) at Cape locks on the northern Grand Union remains as on the list with its home-cooked menu and a wide range of real ales.

The Harvester at Long Itchington keeps its place as a friendly local with good beer and fresh food.

Check-out

It may take some time for the narrowboatworld team to check out these establishments before progressing to other parts of the network!
