Boat trips back on the Wey & Arun Canal

Published: Friday, 02 July 2021

ONCE again it is possible to take a cruise along the scenic Wey & Arun Canal.

The Wey & Arun Canal Trust are glad to report that its trip boats are back, with cruises running from now until October, with regular trips operating on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays, with bookings via our website.

Cream Tea Cruises

The ever-popular Cream Tea Cruises are also making a return, with classic scones, jam and cream. The 1.5 hour trip to Baldwin's Knob Lock and back will run on Fridays at 2pm from July 23rd, with a ticket price of just £16. And from August,  with a special menu of sandwich, crisps and a soft drink at a reduced price of £10 for the kids.

All government guidelines are being followed to ensure trips are coronavirus-safe and the volunteers can’t wait to welcome you onboard.

Private trips

Bookings for private trips are also being taken. We can cater for parties of nine to 48 (in normal times) and a skipper and crew are provided, with a departure time of your choice.
