Will it be a quick job?

THERE is little doubt that though maintenance is at an all time low, the trust's team can sometimes be quick at repairs.

Yesterday, Sunday, a gate on Saltford Lock (4) on the Kennet & Avon broke and cannot be moved, with the navigation closed, Keith Gudgin reports.

Remain closed

It will remain closed until repair work can be undertaken, that we are told will be done as quickly as possible.

So let's see how quickly this 'wait until it breaks' system works.
