Body in lock stops Thames navigation

WHEN a body was recovered from Boulter's Lock the police immediately closed two locks on the Thames.

It was a woman's body that was recovered from the lock on Monday, with the death being treated as unexplained, Alan Tilbury reports.

Thames Valley Police immediately closed navigation at both Boulter's and Cookham locks and warned the public to stay away.

It is not known if navigation has yet been allowed.
