Two more canalside housing projects

TWO more canalside housing projects have been given planning permission.
One is for 93 new homes by the side of the Dudley Canal in Netherton where a 5.7 acre site is being prepared for a mix of homes, Dudley council having given permission, Alan Tilbury reports.
Wolverhampton Level
Another, much larger development, is by the side of the Wolverhampton Level at Lower Horseley Fields, and will comprise of a long-awaited £65 million-housing redevelopment of what is called a 'disgusting' canalside area in Wolverhampton.
A total of 366 homes will be built on the site along with office space and a retail unit for a shop or café.
The former Cheese and Butter Warehouse and the two slip docks will be retained and converted.
