This means that boaters will only be allowed a single daily navigation of the flight between 8am and 9am in the morning, either way, but then will only be allowed exit between 2pm and 3pm in the afternoon.

When the restrictions were first introduced last Wednesday boaters had the alternative of navigating the flight both morning and afternoon, but the afternoon entry has now been stopped, allowing just the one chance each day of navigation the flight, owing to the loss of water through leaking gates.

Mooring allowed

Mooring will still be allowed at Rose Bridge (between Locks 77 & 78) but at no other place on the flight.  But access will be limited to the listed time.

The gates will be padlocked at all other times.
