BOATER  Jason Ward has been sentenced to six years in prison and his wife sentenced to two years suspended for two years, for supplying heroin.

It was also discovered he had a canabis farm containing plants that were valued at £37,000 in their house when it was searched by police, Alan Tilbury reports.

Aptly named

His boat, somewhat aptly named Long Time, was not however used for supplying drugs, but was purchased from the proceeds of the drugs, and will now be sold.

It was told at Leeds Crown Court that the couple were behind a very significant conspiracy to supply heroin, and lived a life of luxury by profiting from vulnerable drug addicts.
