 HERE it is—the new version of narrowboatworld, brought about as our Software Designer, Jason Crossley wrote, being migrated site to the latest version of our Content Management System software and that will enable us to keep up-to-date with security patches.

We have also taken the opportunity to restyle the site to be more responsive to different browsing styles. These means that the layout will alter to suit the device and screen resolution of the device being used, so that it will look much better on mobiles and tablets.

6,500 articles

The content on the home page will include all published articles from all categories in most recent published date order, making it easy to scroll and page through everything up to the point of your last visit. This content goes all the way back to 2009 and current includes over 6,500 articles, split into 658 pages of 10.

If wanting to see previous article from columnist, simply enter such as 'Victor:', 'David:' or 'Fens' in the Search box and all the available columns will be shown.

At the moment there is further work to be done, such as formatting in relation to photographs, but all should be complete within the next few days.
