Another body

FOLLOWING on the body found in the Severn another body has been found in a waterway, this time the Floating Harbour at Bristol has claimed another victim.

As in the case of the Severn body, this time again it was some considerable time after a disappearance that the body was discovered.

Left nightclub

Deakon Wilkins, 24, from Weston-super-Mare left the Motion nightclub in Bristol in the early hours of 14th January, with the initial search called-off after he was not found.

But the report that there was a body floating under the bridge at the Floating Harbour over the week-end alerted the police and it was eventually discovered that it was that of Deakon Wilkins.

A number of people have drowned in the Floating Harbour, with the usual demand for it to be securely fenced off being made to prevent further deaths.
