East Coast flood warnings

THE current flood warnings affecting the East Coast also affect the Ouse and the eastern rivers, with boaters told to keep away.

The Environment agency have issued several flood warnings for the East Coast, Humber, Ouse and Trent areas, from today, Friday, until Monday. Higher than normal tides have been predicted to peak this evening, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Flood locks closed

All flood locks have been closed including the Selby Lock flood barrier, that is not presently available for navigation.
