Teenager charged over canal death

A TEENAGER has been charged with manslaughter after the death of a teenager who was pulled from the Worcester & Birmingham Canal.

The police, concerned about missing 17 years old Sean Williams on Thursday, searched the waterway and discovered him in the Worcester & Birmingham Canal in the city, Keith Gudgin tells us.

Dead upon arrival

Though he was pulled from the canal and rushed to Worcester Royal Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The teenager charged with manslaughter over the alleged unlawful killing of Sean Stevens is being held by the local authority after being charged with manslaughter and assaulting two police officers.
