Denver Sluice out of action

DENVER Sluice, that links the Middle Level and River Great Ouse to the tidal river is out of action until further notice.
No indication
We are told that this main navigational structure has failed and there can be no entry either on or off the tidal river, with no indication given as to the state of its failure or time of possible repair.
All there is is the telephone of the lock keeper— 01366 382013 or 01366 382340.

The failure was not as bad as first believed, as the sluice is now open.
