Woman attacked

A WOMAN was assaulted by two men on the banks of the Taft in Cardiff, and had to be rescued from the water.

As it happened during a busy afternoon the incident was seen and the police called, who subsequently arrested two men, Mick Fitzgibbons tells us.

Serious condition

The woman had to be pulled out of the river then was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, where she is described to be in a serous condition.

The two men are still in custody.
