Cheap day single.

IN AN attempt to raise more cash the Environment Agency is offering a £10 Thames transit licence.

This is for boaters wishing to travel between the waterways of the Grand Union and the Wey, with the transit licence of £10 for a single one way trip, with no limit of boat type or size.

The licence allows the boater passage through the three locks of  Teddington, Molesey and Sunbury, and is available on demand, with payment at any of these locks by credit card or cash.

The new licences will be available from 24 April to 30 September 2010.
