Skipton pub wins again

FOR the sixth year, the Narrowboat in Skipton has been named Pub of the Season.

It was awarded the accolade by the Keighley and Craven branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

The pub opened 11 years ago and sells eight cask conditioned ales: four regulars, including two from the local Copper Dragon Brewery, and four changing guest ales from independent and micro-breweries from all over the country.

It is one of the few remaining local pubs selling bottled beers from Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, the USA and Australia and cask-conditioned Welsh cider and perry.
