Fish Night in March

IF YOU fancy fish and chips of a Friday night, cooked especially for you, then the Old Chandlery Restaurant at Sawley Marina would be a good choice.

This fully licenced restaurant is starting a Friday night Fish Night in March, complete with of course chips and peas for the inclusive price of £5.95.  And it is cooked in real ale batter!

In addition to the choice of  ale, spirits or wine, there's  tea or coffee should that be your choice of beverage. And of course there's always chef' Jeromes's extensive menu of real home-cooked food. (The picture shows Jerome and Chris.)

The restaurant has an excellent reputation, with those from narrowboatworld being regular customers (three were there on Tuesday for lunch), believing it to be the best food in the area.

In addition to the new Fish Nights, the restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday all year round.
