Lack of narrowboats at boat show

THE big London International Boat Show, claims 70 new product launches, but no narrowboats amongst them.

The show at ExCeL in the city, runs from Friday 8th to Sunday 17th January, and is boasting more than 400 exhibitors, but of course is aimed at offshore boating, with the nearest thing to inland boating being Barnet Marine police patrol boat.

Inland waterways

There will however be 'a fantastic inland waterways feature', Discover Inland Waterways, with the Environment agency displaying a single narrowboat and a cruiser.

As usual there is a dance and fashion show, and round the world sailors telling of their experiences.
