Popular boaters' pub on the market

A POPULAR boaters' pub by the Avon at Bristol is closing and on the market.

The old established Beese's Riverside Bar was founded by Anne Breese in 1846 to provided sustenance to both travellers and boaters, and is now on the market with the present owners retiring, Alan Tilbury reports.

Six months of the year

Only open six months of the year, Beeseā€™s also offers a popular bar menu and cream teas to visitors from Friday to Sunday in addition to being a party and music venue throughout the spring and summer months.

Many improvement have been made to the premises by the present owners, but they have decided to sell after running the pub for many years.
