Fallen tree blocks Llangollen Canal

A LARGE tree that has fallen over the Llangollen Canal has blocked the waterway.
This blockage is close to the Llanddyn No 2 Lift Bridge near Llangollen with the tree falling at 7am on Monday morning, Arthur Morris tells us.
Boats stuck both sides
Arthur's photograph shows the extent of the blockage, with the massive trunk right over the waterway, that has caused boats to be stuck at both sides.
We have no intimation of it being cleared, with nothing from Canal & River Trust.
