New facilities at Castle Marina

A NEW purpose built marina building at Nottingham's Castle Marina has now been completed.

This includes new offices, a customer lounge, a new chandlery and also a decking area overlooking the marina.

Additional space created

Removing the old marina office cabin means that additional hard standing space has been created for servicing and storage by the on-site broker.

The new building is situated overlooking the entrance to the marina, making it much easier to monitor the flow of traffic to and from the canal, and ultimately enabling Ben and the team to run the marina more efficiently.

Customer facilities

The new building also houses four additional new toilets, giving  customer facilities at both ends of the marina.

A spokesman for the marina tells us:

"It's been a long, hard journey, but the results have more than made up for this and the team are working hard to get back up to date with the maintenance delays caused by the disruption of the recent works,"
