The search for water

IF YOU are running short of water nowadays it is best to fill up where you can.

Brian Jarrett who sent us the photograph of the water tap with the handle that does not work was also thwarted at another water tap that could not be used. His latest photograph shows that birds were nesting so it was out of action.

Problems with many

It seems there are problems with many water taps, as we know of one on Sawley Cut that has been fitted with the wrong thread that will not take the standard hose pipe coupling.

So don't let your tank get too empty as the water tap you make for could be out of action for some reason or another.
