No such thing as continuous cruiser licence

CAN we please stop all this nonsense regarding continuous cruiser licences? Asks Charles Hoogkirk.

There is no such thing; boaters buy a licence for their boat based on length, not on their mooring location or their non-mooring desires.

Exactly the same

Just to clarify; boaters buy a licence, then either take up a marina or other mooring, at extra cost not included within the CaRT licensing system, or, they elect to constantly cruise, conforming with CaRT's rules for continuous cruisers.

The cost of the licence is exactly the same, there is no indication on the licence as to exactly what type of 'boating' the owner will undertake.
