Favourite place for continous moorers

I was interested to read David Hymer's concerns at the wide beam on the Trent & Mersey at the top end of the canal past Anderton.

This is a favourite place for continous moorers as it seems the men from Canal & River Trust don't get up there anymore, that is proven by the increasing number when there were none around six year ago.  I moor at Anderton so often cruise to the Bridgewater.
