We have recently enjoyed a cruise down the Staffs & Worcs. down to the village of Whittington bridge 28 and went to the old Whittington Inn, now called The Manor House.
Recently refurbished by Marstons and still keeping the old part with log fires etc. The food was a bit dear but the place was well worth a visit some 300 yards from the canal.
Just thought I would mention it for when you are next in the area.
