ONE owner discovered a novel way to moor his unwanted narrowboat—dump it on the street!

The narrowboat pictured was discovered abandoned on a street in Smethwick, with Highways Department of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council asking who it belongs to, Keith Gudgin reports.

Baffled

The council workers were baffled at seeing the narrowboat dumped by the side of the road, using social media to attempt to discover its owner, as the council want it moved away.

It had neither name, number or licence showing. This was close to the Birmingham Main Line.waterway.
