Problem with rowers

Published: Monday, 14 August 2017

ROWERS, as opposed to canoeists, do not, and can not use canals, due to blindingly obvious width restrictions, writes Geoff Low.

They use rivers, in places like Windsor, Henley, Oxford, Cambridge etc. Anyone getting the message?

They have been there for hundreds of years. Any problem they cause is yours to share, you have crew, ropes, engine (with reverse gear). Just keep out of the bloody way and not treat waterways as some kind of extension of the North Circular!
