Very welcome indeed at White Mills Marina

AFTER struggling with the tide to get off the Ouse, a couple were glad to get into a marina on the Nene, where they tell us they were made very welcome indeed.

Jackie & Terry Brown had been having a rough time on their narrowboat Next Ten, first having their ropes removed one night and finishing on a weir on the Ouse then having to struggle with a strong tide and battle in the heavy rain getting on to the Nene, and were thankful to see White Mills Marina on the river, with Jackie telling us:

Deserve a mention

"We were near White Mills Marina so went in there to sort out our problems, and they certainly deserve a mention. Nothing is to much trouble for them, they greet you and help get you moored up with lovely helpful staff arranging an hire car to pick us up and they even have deliveries from Tesco. etc."

So anyone cruising the Nene wanting a respite, or even a night's mooring, White Mills Marina is certainly the place.
