Aylesbury Arm open

ENGINEERS have now examined the bridge on the Aylesbury Arm that was hit by a vehicle on Saturday, and the navigation deemed safe.
This was following a vehicle collision to Bridge 7 on the Arm causing damage to the parapet, that closed the navigation.
Made safe
But the bridge, next to Puttenham Lock, has now been made safe with the navigation re-opened, Keith Gudgin tells us.
The outcome is not so good for the road, as this remains closed to traffic.
